Welcome to Help and Trust, the website of Julie Streatfield. I am an experienced Psychotherapist and Counsellor and my central London practice is situated close the West End and the City with easy access from Holborn and Chancery Lane tube (Central Line) and Blackfriars (Silverlink).

For some people the decision to seek counselling can be a difficult and daunting prospect. The best way to start is to simply telephone or email me to arrange an introductory session, where we would explore the issues that you are having difficulty with and discuss how we might work together. It is important to feel that you are able to trust and confide in the therapist. Should you decide not to continue beyond the introductory session, your wishes would be respected.

I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists and have an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Thames Valley University together with a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy awarded by CPCAB.

I am experienced at dealing with many relationship issues, depression, harassment, abuse, fear, miscarriage, low self esteem, bereavement, pre-menstrual tension, abortion, anxiety, anger management, work issues, jealousy, menopause, loss of confidence, addiction, cultural conflicts, stress, sexuality and guilt.
